early morning bike ride with deb and michelle, we started at dawn and did about 25 miles alonge the burke. lovely cool bright beginning to the day.

home to breakfast with mom and mark, after which mom threw a piece of ham and some potatoes into the crock pot. then mom and i adjourned to the intiman to see crime and punishment. we'd reviewed a synopsis and worried about confusion, but learned the intiman had distilled it dramatically (pun intended). it was 90 minutes of agony. it wasn't BAD, it just wasn't our style.

we hit trader joe's for supplies on the way home and ate our yummy hammy dinner and mom headed back to the homestead. what a lovely full weekend.
